Whether it is training for an upcoming marathon or spending the night refining a logo, I am always looking for a way to improve my craft. My love of sports introduced me to logos. I was watching football games as a kid and would spread my marker set and sketchbook out, and before I knew it I discovered what graphic design was.
I began freelancing during my time as a student, and am now developing engaging user experiences at my current internship at 829 studios, and working with a pickup basketball app called Hoop Maps, to help redesign their brand. I like the process of design: the initial research, hours of refinement, and incorporating hand-drawn elements, textures, and layers into my projects. I hope to open and run my own collaborative design studio and continue to create work that helps people tell their stories.
